Identity Based Manifesting and Why It’s Easier

When I first started on my manifesting journey, I was taught that our thoughts manifest. When we manifest something, we should align our thoughts to our desired end. When we think of the thing desired, we had to affirm that we had it until that thought felt natural…

That’s only part of it.

We manifest through our state/identity.

What is a state?

A state is your identity. A state is all inclusive. Let’s start with an example.

I am in the state of a proud student.

In the state of a proud student, I have certain thoughts, actions, reactions, etc. When I am in the state of a proud student, I can only experience and manifest things that confirm that to me. Even when something “bad” happens, my state of proud student knows exactly how to handle it.

How do you get into a state?

I find that what works best is outline what your aim is. Say you want to be a home owner but right now your living with your parents. Your job is to identity who would you be if you were now a homeowner? What would people say to you? What is included in this new state of yours (i.e. what thoughts, actions, reactions, beliefs, assumptions do you have now)?

You are it now.

Once you identify it. Embody it. See the world through the eyes of having it. You live from the end as Neville Goddard puts it. You are now a homeowner what does that feel like to you?

From there you can construct a scene that IMPLIES your wish is fulfilled. Is it having a home warming party? Is it you cuddling on the sofa watching your favorite show?

FEEL IT REAL!

Practicing being this version of you that has your wish. How would your life be different now that you have it?

Most importantly WHO ARE YOU now that you have it. Focus on who you are and how you feel.

Make it as natural as possible. Don’t aim to feel excited but what it feel like if this is your world now (the moment you desired it, it became real, here and now). That’s what “feel it real” is all about. What feels real to you? What would it feel like if you’ve owned your dream home for 5 years, you wouldn’t feel excited about your new home, but you would feel proud, secure, and comforted knowing you have a home.

Apply this to all the things you desire:

  1. Define what it is you want.
  2. Make it about who YOU are now that you have it.
  3. Know that it is done, it was done the moment you desired it.
  4. Embody this new identity of yours.

This makes manifesting so much easier. Manifesting is supposed to be easy. You don’t have to constantly affirm for what it is you want. All you have to do is embody it, become it. When you make this about you, you can’t go wrong.
