Why Feeling is the Secret
The feeling is the knowing that something is yours but its also what you feel will come back to you.
There’s a story in the Bible in Luke chapter 8 of Jesus walking amongst a crowd. There was a woman who was sick and she believed that is she could only touch him, she would be healed. She eventually got through the crowd, touched him, and was healed. Jesus immediately declared, “ Someone has touched me. For I know that power has got out of me.”
That’s just a brief synopsis of the story but there are two lessons in this
One being she believed therefore she was healed
The second is that he felt something come out of him or healing power
When we feel something, that feeling will replicate itself and come out of us
Let me give you an example.
I practice daily, a sigh of relief
I wake up and the first thing I do is a big sigh of relief
I feel relaxed.
At some point in the day, I will experience “a sigh of relief”
Sometimes it’s finishing a homework assignment on time
Or sometimes it’s after eating my favorite meal
When we want something, we are chasing a feeling that we believe this thing or person is going to give us. how would you feel if you now had what you want?. Once you feel it, trust that what you felt was real
Feelings are not the same as emotions
Let me share with you some definitions of the differences
“While emotions are associated with bodily reactions that are activated through neurotransmitters and hormones released by the brain, feelings are the conscious experience of emotional reaction”
A fundamental difference between feelings and emotions is that feelings are experienced consciously, while emotions manifest either consciously or subconsciously.”
Meaning that your body experiences emotions but your mind experiences feelings. Emotions are manifestations of what you are feeling as true.
If you feel an imaginary seen as real, your emotions will follow it.
Your thoughts and emotions are a result or manifestation of your feelings
Karla Mclaren gave the best example on love,
“Love is not an emotion; it doesn’t behave the way emotions do. … When we love truly, we can experience all our free-flowing, mood state, and intense emotions (including fear, rage, hatred, grief, and shame) while continuing to love and honor our loved ones. Love isn’t the opposite of fear, or anger, or any other emotion.”
I want to reiterate that feeling is the secret. You can have any emotion and manifest what you want. Trust that what you felt, will manifest.
When you want to manifest money, why do you want it? What will it make you feel?
For me, it makes me feel satisfied and relaxed. When I experience the feeling (of relaxed and satisfied) the world MUST give me that feeling again
When we feel loved, the world MUST continue to give us that feeling.
Things and people are middles to your feelings. What you want is to feel a certain way. Focus on what you want to feel, and give yourself that feeling right now!
How you go about achieving the feeling, really is up to you, some use affirmations, scripting, visualizing. Find what works for you.
You have the power to feel anything right now.
When you feel something, it must come back and it’s exactly what you want.
So don’t worry about something else coming to you. If you feel satisfaction. Only things that make you feel satisfied will manifest.
So for example. I felt graduating and feeling like a proud student. I trusted the feeling of a proud student, and as a result, I could only experience things that make me feel like a proud student. Which includes emotions of excitement and relief and seeing the results on my transcripts. I didn’t have to focus on the perfect script or imaging the perfect scene, just what i wanted to feel.
Another example how Starbucks says “the first sip feeling” I like to experience that “ahh” after taking my first sip of coffee. Nothing can bring me that satisfaction but my favorite drink. I can’t get a soda or a juice to fulfilled that feeling, so that can’t manifest. Your I am is always trying to fulfill what you felt. It’s not going to bring you something you don’t want. Focus on what you want to feel.
You can have the emotions of sadness and anger and happiness, those are not what manifest but what you feel as real.
What is something you want to feel? Give yourself that. You have the power to do that! Trust that what you felt was real!
